After dinner and a short introduction to the weekend they enjoy s’mores and songs around the fire. They play some shuffleboard in the Shelter and head to bed. Saturday morning they have breakfast and some worship time. Then they head out to the beach to fly kites and build sandcastles. After lunch they enjoy a guided nature hike up Charlotte’s Mountain and go boating on Spring Lake. After dinner the kids see how well they know their Dad as they play a group game of Family Trivia. Sunday morning after breakfast they make a scrapbook of their weekend together. They get in the car and head back home. The kids can’t wait to tell Mom about their weekend. Mom and Dad take off for the beach while Grandma and Grandpa watch the kids back home. Friday night after dinner and s’mores around the fire they take an evening stroll along the beach. After dinner and a short introduction, Grandma and Grandpa laugh as the grandkids learn the art of roasting a marshmallow. Then they play a game of foosball and head to bed. In the morning after worship they head out for a guided tide pool excursion. After lunch at the camp they take a ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. After dinner Grandma and Grandpa take pride in how well they know their grandkids as they play Family Trivia. They spend the rest of the evening doing an art project together.
